Social Media Terms

The Whatslively Facebook, Twitter and Instagram pages have been created for our fans. We treat our Social Media pages as an interactive, fun and informative place to connect with our fans.

These terms set out the terms for use of content or materials generated or uploaded by you on the Whatslively Social Media pages.

1. We may invite or permit you to post, add, comment on and/or upload content (including but not limited to videos and photos) to our Social Media pages ('User Generated Content'). However, we do not regulate over all, and do not sanction any, User Generated Content, and we are not liable in respect of User Generated Content. You are solely responsible for your User Generated Content.

2. We reserve the right to use your User Generated Content by means of publicising and promoting Whatslively and its Services, and you agree that you will make no monetary or other claim against Whatslively for its use of your User Generated Content.

3. Your User Generated Content will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary.

4. We reserve the right to use, copy, distribute, publish, sub-licence and/or disclose to third parties any such User Generated content for any purpose.

5. We reserve the right to disclose your identity to any third party who claims that your User Generated Content violates their intellectual property or privacy rights.

6. Your User Generated Content must:

• 6.1 be accurate (where you state facts);
• 6.2 be genuinely held (where you state opinions); and
• 6.3 comply with applicable law in Australia and in any country from which the content is posted.

7. Your User Generated Content must not:

• 7.1 contain any material breaches Facebook's Terms of Use: https://www.facebook.com/legal/terms or Twitter's Terms of Service: https://twitter.com/tos;
• 7.2 contain any material which is defamatory, obscene, offensive, threatening, abusive, vulgar, hateful or inflammatory;
• 7.3 promote sexually explicit material or violence;
• 7.4 give the impression that such content derives from us;
• 7.5 discriminate on the grounds of race, sex, religion, nationality, disability, sexual orientation or age;
• 7.6 infringe any copyright, database right or trade mark of any other person;
• 7.7 be likely to deceive any person;
• 7.8 breach of any legal duty owed to a third party, such as a contractual duty or a duty of confidence;
• 7.9 invade another person’s privacy;
• 7.10 be likely to harass or alarm any other person;
• 7.11 be used to impersonate any person, or to misrepresent your identity or affiliation with any person or organisation;
• 7.12 harm any minor in any way;
• 7.13 promote or assist any unlawful act; or
• 7.14 contain business information, spam, notices about contests or competitions run by other corporations or organisations, advertising or offers to sell or buy any goods or services.

8. Whatslively reserves the right (but are not obliged) to take any appropriate action including but not limited to editing or removing content that violates these Social Media Terms and to block your access to our page at as we consider appropriate.
