Watar's Fundraiser For Refugee Futures
Join us for an evening with Watar Ensemble as they perform to raise funds for the CRISP refugee sponsorship program, supporting an LGBTQIA+ refugee’s journey to safety in Melbourne.
Inspired by the words of Gibran Khalil Gibran, “even as the strings of a lute are alone though they quiver with the same music,” we invite you to come together as a community and connect through the powerful and rich music of the Levant and broader Arab region.
The Watar Ensemble will take us through a musical journey, performing pieces old and new that are born from both beauty and struggle. This night is a space to come together to support our refugee community and contribute to a future where everyone can find safety and belonging.
