Phil Hayter's Illuminators at The Jazz Sessions

Since relocating from Melbourne's busy arts scene to the Sunshine Coast one year ago,  lifelong saxophonist and composer Phil Hayter has been lending his dynamic musicianship to the best groups and artists in S.E. Qld, quickly becoming an in-demand woodwind artist in the region.

At the Presynct, he will be debuting his own group, Phil Hayter's Illuminators to present a mix of hard swinging standards, original jazz-funk compositions and vulnerable ballads using an array of woodwinds. The focus is on exceptional interplay and bringing as much fun as beauty into jazz. Expect some risk taking on a sonic adventure by some of the Sunshine Coast's best improvisers. With Denis Feletto on keyboards, Brendan Scully on double and electric basses and Max Sportelli on drums.

There is no other food available from the venue but you are welcome to purchase dinner elsewhere and bring it in to eat in the venue.
