James Bond has been an iconic film series since 1962, and alongside each fantastic movie was an equally stunning score. For one night only we have reimagined the best themes from the 007 franchise to suit an intimate jazz club setting, bringing you hits such as "Goldfinger," "Skyfall," and "The Spy Who Loved Me." Playing the role of Bond is local man of mystery, Ben McGill, who will grace you with his lush vocals alongside a stellar nine piece band. The Not-So-Big-Band was originally put together by Toshi Clinch as a way to celebrate and showcase the up and coming talents of the Melbourne jazz scene.
The NSBB features a 9 piece line up covering all of the common jazz instruments (Trumpet,Sax, Trombone and more...) The band has been performing regularly together, and has developed a unique sound that is not to be missed.
Led by both Ben McGill on Vocals and Music Director Gordon Lambie on Trumpet, tonights performance will include the following line up:
