The return of the epic heavy music odyssey Thrashville on June 28 down in the Hunter Valley, has brought an overwhelming level of interest from bands right across this big brown land.

Thrashville’s righteous leader Dr Druid, reckons the only way to go to sift through the scurge of applications, is to host a couple regional battle where every battle held, will not only be wholesome heavy fun, but also land an an epic band who will join the 2025 Thrashville line up.

So on behalf of Dr Druid and Dashville, the organisers behind this glorious event, we are hosting a regional battle featuring bands from the periphery who have applied to play the festival.  So here we go…

The NEWY ‘Thrashville Regional Battle’ goes down at The Hamo on Friday May 30th, and features a selection of epic emerging bands from around the traps as they vie for an esteemed fest slot.

The comp band finalists are as follows:

LAURAPANIC (Newy)
PIT (Newy)
SHACKED (Central Coast)
MEET THE RAT (Hunter)

We need you to come along to support these bands and tell us who should play Thrashville!! Crowd Voting is via a 3-token system & the Thrashville Winner announced on the night after all the bands have gone full rip, just for you!
