“Stoner Rock band Cosmonaut played all instrumentals for a few years with Chris Ruddick (Rye Catchers) on guitars, Tim Bignall (Epicure) on bass and Corey Cozza (Sex Face)on drums. Hap Hayward (Dead Salesmen) began contributing vocals in 2022.  Cosmonaut have just recorded their debut album with Jeff Pope at Croajing along studios. They have supported Magic  Dirt, Space Junk and Distorta, and look forward to more shows and an album launch this year. Kxx is a new alt rock band from Ballarat, likened to St Vincent, PJ Harvey and The Kills, with Kristine Allan on vocals and guitar. Peter Allan (Creature Seed) on Bass. Lesley Fromhurst on drums. Emma Grant (The Vests) backing vocals. Kxx has played with Dean Richards (Michael Hutchence/ Whirlywirld/Stephen Cummings) Black Earth (David Thrussell/SNOG) and Spike.
