For over three decades, George Evelyn—better known as Nightmares on Wax—has been shaping the way we experience music. Now, with Echo45 Sound System, N.O.W takes that lineage a step further. More than a compilation, the album is a living, breathing sound system experience—a mixtape that is at once a celebration and a declaration. It merges soul, roots, hip-hop, dub, and electronic textures, held together by Evelyn’s fearless creative vision. Featuring an extraordinary ensemble of collaborators, including Yasiin Bey, Greentea Peng, Sadie Walker, Liam Bailey, and more, Echo45 is not just a reflection of where Nightmares on Wax has been—it’s a bold announcement of where he’s going.
