To celebrate the release of their debut single 'Tightrope', Afterheart are playing their first ever live show at Tomcat on Saturday September 5th!

AFTERHEART: In a world where complete authenticity is in such short supply, Afterheart has enough for everyone. Documenting each and every step from nameless nobodies to having reached over 5 million people across the globe, there isn't a more honest view of a bands journey out there. Raised on the likes of Nickelback, Foo Fighters and Alice in Chains, Afterheart always felt something was missing from the modern music scene. Afterheart seeks to fill that void by providing a soundtrack that refuses to be just background music; creating an immersive atmosphere at every show.

After writing and recording their debut single "Tightrope" written about the struggle of balancing life’s responsibilities, the boys are ready to hit the gigging scene and grow their 16k online fanbase. With plenty more music right around the corner, Afterheart aim to release a 6-track EP in early 2027, with themes of hopecore, nostalgia and fatherhood.

BAN SOLO: Sun-kissed laid back surf rock shaken with a vigour of Brit rock, Ban Solo are a genre-bending, and captivating ensemble that thrives on the big stage, delivering invigorating yet heartfelt music.

Hailing from Brisbane, the quartet was born in the hallowed halls of university as a shared passion for the art of music, where they crafted their own unique sound drawing inspiration from the likes of The Kooks, Arctic Monkeys, Ocean Alley, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, and Tash Sultana. It’s a sound that’s both evocative and refreshingly original, setting them apart as an unmissable upcoming artist.

LOTUS SHIP: Formed on the Gold Coast by vocalist Mitchell Watterson, the heavy psych band Lotus Ship released their full length concept piece ‘Digital Future’ in 2021, gigging extensively around Queensland with various headline shows and support slots for the likes of Delta Riggs (AU), Dune Rats (AU) and The Garden (US). The band are currently working on their next release and are very excited to be back on the scene to showcase their sexy new cosmic goods.

FINDAWAY: is one of the fastest rising bands in the Brisbane music scene, known for their high-energy performances and dynamic sound. With a reputation for delivering powerful live shows and ear worming originals, Findaway continues to make waves in the industry well into 2026. After the success of their debut album Intertwined in 2024 (which amassed over 100k streams) Findaway are set to head into the studio to record their highly anticipated second album.
