The Will Jones Big Band is back with another edition of The Andrews Sisters! Featuring the talents of Meg Pearson, Rhea John and Ruby Glynn on hits like Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy and Bei Mir Bistu Shein, we will pay tribute to the iconic American trio. The band is made-up of a fresh mix of talented Melbourne-based musicians, with the singular goal to take you back to the swingin’ 1930s and 40s..

Will Jones is an avid, upcoming trombonist, composer and band director based in Melbourne. Inspired by Black-American music and its plethora of stylistic branches from a young age, he is currently specialising in Jazz and Improvisation as part of his BMus at Monash University. Will is a versatile musician and has had the opportunity to work with figures such as Deborah Cheetham AO, Paul Grabowsky AO, Vince Jones, Kristin Berardi, Toshi Clinch, and Iro Haarla (FIN) on projects including the Monash Sessions and Melbourne International Jazz Festival. With significant experience in large-ensemble projects, Will is now also working towards writing and performance opportunities with his own big-band.
