_“EORA/SYDNEY, the band and I are coming up and it’s about time!”_

It’s been 5 years since **Merpire** has played a band show in Eora/Sydney, where she grew up.

Her last band show was at Waywards in Newtown where she, her band and her fans celebrated the release of her debut record, _‘Simulation Ride’_, which was nominated for the **Soundmerch Australian Music Prize** and was **feature album on Double J**.

While her band shows are ever-captivating, her solo sets are just as powerful, as seen supporting **Ball Park Music**, **Bombay Bicycle Club** (UK) and **Fanning Dempsey National Park** (Paul Dempsey and Bernard Fanning) across Sydney just in 2025. 

Also in 2025, **Merpire** celebrated the release of her **ARIA-charting second album**, _‘MILK POOL’_ with a **sold-out solo show at Lazy Thinking in Dulwich Hill**. **Merpire** was blown away by the way people showed up, singing along and promised she’d bring the band up as soon as she could.

With a band that has been together going on 8 years, featuring members who also play with the likes of **Mia Wray**, **Angie McMahon** and **Alex Lahey**, a **Merpire** band show is truly not to be missed.
