"Machine on a Break is celebrating the launch of her first single of 2024 with a very special performance in Canberra at the Baso on August 3rd. Limbo is an anecdote about being unsure of what would happen to her - would she live or die, and if she died, would she have a place in heaven.   
Limbo was performed at the Listen Up Music Songwriting Prize semi finals in 2023 but it wasn’t for another few months when Machine on a Break realised this story could hold importance to others and she wanted to share it.   
“It’s not about making anyone feel sorry for me - it’s about sharing real emotions and stories in a way to inspire others to speak up, seek the help they need, and hold on. I hope that hearing ‘Limbo’ helps at least one person avoid their own moment of limbo.”
