Founded in St Kilda in 1981 by former _Kush_ trumpeter + arranger, John Montesante, _Grand WaZoo_ emerged from the suburb’s vibrant live-music culture and quickly established itself as Australia’s most authentic, respected and enduring Soul ensemble. More than four decades on, and still led by Montesante - for whom St Kilda remains home - the band continues to deliver matchless performances that honour the golden legacy of Soul, while thrilling contemporary audiences.
