Every week, we bring live bands into the iconic backroom of The Northern – giving artists a space to play and punters a reason to get out midweek.

Entry is free, so it’s easy to swing by, catch a set, and support the scene.

Gold Coast alt-rockers Ferny Fairway are hitting the road for their Late Night Drive Tour, named after a lyric from their standout single Melancholy. Known for blending 90s alt-rock nostalgia with a modern edge, the band has been making waves with high-energy live shows, heartfelt lyrics, and a rapidly growing fanbase.

Fresh off a main stage performance at Best Night Ever and a spot on Spotify’s Local Noise playlist, Ferny Fairway are taking their emotionally-charged indie rock across the East Coast.
