James Valentine’s Upbeat is coming to the Brass Monkey for the best Sunday lunch gig ever! James is from ABC Radio Sydney Afternoons, and ABC Jazz, and he’s been weilding a saxophone since the Models, Wendy Matthews and a host of other great Aussie acts in the 80s!

His show features his fabulous jazz quartet; Clayton Doley on organ, Nic Cecire on drums and Sam Rollings on guitar. They play great grooving fun soul jazz. And then you’ll find James gets chatty. And of course, very funny.
