Helen Townsend & The Wayward Hearts are bringing their soulful Americana, Folk, and Country Blues sound back to The River. Hot off the plane from an East Coast tour, they are ready to celebrate the release of Helen’s new album, "Take It Or Leave It."

Her evocative songwriting and soul-stirring performances have earned her a strong reputation in the Australian music scene. She has received numerous accolades and has shared the stage with many well-known artists. Helen has also played and toured in the US, showcasing with Sounds Australia as part of the AmericanaFest in Nashville.

Opening up the night is the one and only, Mike Goodwin Band. A well-known figure in the Margaret River music scene, Mike Goodwin has been performing in the Capes region since the 1990s. Initially recognized for his work with cover bands, Mike has recently focused on his original songs. His talent has earned him multiple nominations and awards, including recognition at WAM's Song of the Year and the Boyup Brook Country Music Festival. Mike, along with his all-star band featuring Kev McDonald, Scott Pierce, and Cam McCrae, will deliver their unique blend of country, dark country, and spaghetti western music.
