**MG Live** and **Frontier Touring** are pumped to announce the return of US pop provocateur **Ashnikko** to **Australian** and **New Zealand** shores in **September 2026**. ​ 

The cross-genre hyper-pop bubble-gum artist who opened for **Billie Eilish** on her _**Hit Me Hard and Soft**_ 12-date arena tour of Australia to tens of thousands of fans, will kick the _**SMOOCHIES TOUR**_ off in **New Zealand** at **Auckland Town Hall** on **Wednesday 16 September.** The **Australian** leg of the tour opens in **Sydney** at the **Enmore Theatre** on **Saturday 19 September** before heading to **Melbourne’s Forum** on **Wednesday 23 September** then onto **Brisbane’s The Fortitude Music Hall** on **Friday 25 September,** **Adelaide’s Hindley Street Music Hall** on **Sunday 27 September** before winding up in **Perth** at **Metro City** on **Tuesday 29 September.**

Following 2023’s debut [_WEEDKILLER_,](https://open.spotify.com/album/4xZP0Vuf4DNK7wsp3ZKbQ0?si=JT4zkAeFR0ezSdK8ciYLQg) sonically it expands Ash’s distinct hybrid-pop sound while taking a significantly more autobiographical approach to lyrics. The 15-track album is a rebellious one, made from a place of radical joy at a time when the world has never felt more threatening for femmes and marginalized communities. In response, Ashnikko is taking up space by inhabiting a state of pure play. It’s absurd and grotesque, explicit and tender, sexy without an ounce of desire to perform for the male gaze.
