"Australia's most exciting blues and roots rockers" Smoke Stack Rhino return to Melbourne to launch their new 'Clearwater' EP and fresh lineup at The Workers Club in Fitzroy on Saturday 3rd May.
Hailing from the swamps of the Yarra Valley, Smoke Stack Rhino have been electrifying audiences with their powerful live performances and authentic blend of blues and roots rock.
The band is becoming a festival favourite across Australia. After closing the main stage at the 2024 Blues at Bridgetown festival, the director commented, “If there had been a roof, they would have lifted it off.”
They’ve run their own festival, brewed their own beer, and their self-released albums have charted on ARIAs Australian Albums and Blues/Jazz Album charts.
Launching on the night, new EP 'Clearwater' continues their upward trajectory while they've recently expanded their sound with the addition of Lachy Bruce on keys and Lyle Jenkins on drums.
