Soothsayer Presents: Main Phase @ The Night Cat

One of the very driving forces in the global resurgence of UK bass culture, Soothsayer is proud to welcome Copenhagen-born DJ and producer Main Phase to the Night Cat on Saturday 8th November.

Since launching the project in 2019, Main Phase has carved out a distinctive space in the underground, blending the raw energy of UK bass music of all tempos with the introverted club sounds of Europe into a sound that feels both reverent and forward-thinking. His productions and sets are steeped in the spirit of pirate radio, sound system culture, and DIY ethos, yet delivered with a crisp, modern edge that resonates far beyond the British Isles.

As co-founder of ATW Records alongside Interplanetary Criminal, Main Phase has been instrumental in shaping a new wave of UK-influenced club music. Their collaborative ATW project delivers high-octane speed garage, while his First Touch alias with Lille Høg explores futuristic takes on jungle. His solo catalog spans many respected labels, both old and new, from legendary Locked On Recordings to newer heavyweights like Instinct - all earning support from tastemakers such as Ben UFO, Mama Snake, Darwin and Chris Stussy.

Main Phase’s DJ sets are known for their high energy and deep crates, often packed with unreleased dubs and vinyl cuts, music for both the introverted bass listener and the extroverted raver. He’s performed at iconic venues and festivals including Fabric, Glastonbury, Lost Sundays in Sydney and Outlook in Croatia, and is hosting a monthly Rinse FM show.

Main Phase will be joined by some top shelf local firepower and Soothsayer fan favourites in emerging producer and DJ Trustee and renowned UKG selector KJONES.

This late night, no-phones, bass heavy affair will be one to remember and just as we’ve seen tickets fly for his ATW compatriot IPC we highly recommend getting in early via presale…
