Two Tone Pony Born on the Road Album Showcase

Two Tone Pony was formed by singer/songwriter/guitarist David Kirkpatrick in 2018 with a vision
of performing and recording original music. Country music is in David’s DNA with parents Slim
Dusty and Joy McKean and sister Anne Kirkpatrick so it was inevitable that Two Tone Pony would
head somewhere in that direction.

David recruited old friends (and a brother in law); singer/songwriter/multi instrumentalist Ian
Rhodes, drummer/vocalist Greg Richardson, bassist/vocalist Graham Puglisi and keyboardist
Glenn Willey to complete the band’s line up.

Two Tone Pony songs range from acoustic ballads to soaring country rock, proudly telling stories
about Australia and Australians. As well as their original music live shows feature songs by artists
that have influenced them such as Tom Petty, Jason Isbell, Neil Young, The Rolling Stones, Slim
Dusty and Creedence Clearwater Revival, re imagined to fit the bands unique style.

For the Marrickville Bowling Club show the band is proud to be showcasing its brand new album
“Born On The Road” which is getting rave reviews and airplay across Australia and was chosen as
Album of the Week on ABC Country Radio. They will also be playing some other original songs,
old and new with a few songs by their favourite artists thrown in.
