Tina Growls 'Sacrifice' Single Launch
Tina Growls are excited to announce their long-awaited release of progressive hard rock track ‘Sacrifice’. With audiences around Melbourne captivated by its fast and dynamic rhythm, time signature changes and guttural screaming, the song speaks to the nature of our unrelenting world, asking what will you sacrifice in order to get what makes you feel alive?
Back from a 3-year hiatus, the band have been growing a fan base with their refined and unique rock sound led by eccentric shredding frontwoman Darcy Rock. Alongside brother Dylan Rock and Lewellyn Irving, the band take a variety of influences from early 70s hard rock, to progressive math rock and grunge and make it their own. The best way to describe the sound of Tina Growls is to imagine if a Veronica sung with Black Sabbath riffs in a Smashing Pumpkins song.
The single release is accompanied by a film clip made by local legend Young Ha Kim (@painted.sun.in.abstract) which the band would like to make special mention of, as his hard work and perfect representation of the song makes this release all the more special.
Joining the celebration at the Bergy Bandroom on Friday the 11th of October will be friends Mer Lo and Cuddle.
