In 2024, Kristin Velvet continues to solidify her position as one of the most dynamic and influential figures in the global house music scene. Hailing from the Australian outback, she has seamlessly blended her contemporary roots while sourcing the energy of the major cities worldwide she has called her “home” over the past few decades. These include London, Tokyo, and most recently, spliting her time between two iconic music hubs; Berlin and Ibiza.

The past year has seen her release stellar EPs for BBC Radio 1 presenter Danny Howard's Nothing Else Matters label and for Josh Wink's legendary Ovum Recordings as well as on Arms & Legs, the label she co-manages alongside Daniel Steinberg. All this comes on top of a decade of big tunes with numerous collaborations with Felix Da Housecat, outings on Cassy's Kwench and Hot Since 82’s Knee Deep in Sound label.

With influences rooted in 90s Chicago and Detroit house, golden-era hiphop, and UK big beat, Velvet’s sound channels all those inspirations while remaining steadfast forward thinking. Her tracks have consistently climbed the charts and have garnered support from industry heavyweights such as The Blessed Madonna, Fat Boy Slim, Carl Cox, Dave Clarke, Damian Lazarus, and Jamie Jones.

Kristin Velvet's impact extends far beyond the studio. She's graced the stages of renowned venues worldwide, including Elrow at Amnesia Ibiza, WooBar Bali, Hive Zurich, XOYO London, Hï Ibiza, D-Edge Sao Paulo, Revolver Upstairs Melbourne, and Monkey in Tblisi. She’s also made a name for herself on the festival circuit drawing in audiences at Snowboming, The Island Festival Croatia Off Sonar, Fusion, and Exit Festival just to name a few. She also holds a prestigious residency at Watergate Berlin.
