Meet us across the coke sign and step into a night of heavy bass, mind-melting drops and pure house chaos! This isn’t just another night out-it’s a statement. The Cross was built for nights like this, and we’re here to take it back!Behind the decks we have a legendary line up of Sydney’s finest Music Producers & DJs who are really pushing the envelope with their unique sounds; ELAC, Pretence & Sass. Expect high voltage, no-holds barred sets that’ll keep you moving right till the end! And to kick the night off, we have the mighty duos Tom N’ Gerry & Flash Mob who will be providing high energy tech house grooves to really set the tone! The Cross isn’t dead-it’s about to be revived.

ELAC 

Emerging into the electronic music scene in 2021, ELAC is an Australian-based Music Producer & DJ with an audacious persona and a niche for highly energetic atmospheres. Debuting on Deadmau5’s well respected label ‘mau5trap’ with his invigorating single ‘Blare’ ELAC is ready to showcase to the world his meticulous attention to squelchy bassines and exhilarating breakdowns. Synchronising the nostalgic 2010 Electro-House era with a new-age festival impression, ELAC’s uniquely tailored sound is something you don’t want to sleep on.

PRETENCE

Hailing from Sydney, Australia, 26 year old producer Pretence is a force not to be messed with. Pretence started his musical journey in 2015 with a passion for long build-ups and catchy melodies that were often presented to him at afterdark parties. His interest grew deeply and transformed into a love for the darker, underground sounds. Years after delving into the world of production, Pretence began to emulate and experiment with percussion, synths and basslines, creating a hybrid version that both shocks the senses and sends the body into a state of flux. 

Already catching the likes of high class artists such as Wax Motif, Drezo, Bijou, Dr. Fresh, AC Slater, Marten Horger, Matroda, Black Tiger Sex Machine, Lo’99, Odd Mob, Jordan Burns & many more, there’s no doubt that this artist will be showcasing to the world the evilness that lies within his productions. Pretence: an attempt to make something that is not the case appear true.

SASS 

Sass is an electronic music producer and DJ based in Sydney, Australia. Quickly rising into the scene, Sass delivers a style that places an emphasis on the drop, making all of her music dance floor-ready. Her uncompromising energy and performance has captivated many fans, taking them on an eclectic bass driven journey through her distinctive and dynamic DJ sets. The Australian artist differentiates herself with her ability to make speaker-rattling basslines that are unique, intriguing and powerful. Her 4th ever release ‘Human Acceptance’ quickly gathered support from some of the world’s biggest artists such as Tchami, Malaa, Dr. Fresch and was played at some of the biggest festivals worldwide. 

In her hometown, Sass has performed at some of Sydney’s most legendary venues including The Metro, Oxford Art Factory, Civic Underground, Chinese Laundry, as well as performed a round of regional and festival shows. In 2020 Sass started her own record label ‘Sassinated’’ and has since been self releasing her own music and doing her own ‘Sassinated’ shows. Sass is an artist to keep an eye on as she is set to leave her footprint on the music scene.
