While many jazz aficionados may be well versed in the solo work of Michael Brecker, the music created with his older brother and trumpeter Randy Brecker is immortalised through the Brecker Brothers. Their intricate harmonies and complex, tasteful melodies defined the ‘skunk-funk’ and jazz fusion sound of the 1970s. Their joint artistic expression continued throughout the 80s and 90s, progressing through a variety of traditional and modern jazz sounds.

Luca Brading is an in-demand saxophonist, multi-instrumentalist and composer based in Melbourne, Australia. His musical inspiration stems from a love of improvised music, jazz and RnB. He has had success as a bandleader, with multiple jazz ensembles including his sellout shows ‘The Music of Mobley’ and 'Stan Meets Chet', and as a sideman working with Melbourne based and International artists.

  

Outside of his own projects, Luca has worked with a number of young and upcoming musicians both in the studio and on stage including Seb Szabo, MÖZE, Sin City, Alisya Rae and more. While working with these acts, Luca has shared stages and studios with leading Australian musicians such as Julien Wilson, Andrea Keller, Ash Grunwald, David Arden and Wanderers. Throughout his travels, Luca has also performed internationally with jazz musicians in Tokyo and Paris.
