The Music Of Ennio Morricone And The Spaghetti West
THE MOST DANGEROUS SHOW IN TOWN is back at THEATRE ROYAL this Spring for a 3pm Sunday matinee performance of ‘The Music of Ennio Morricone & the Spaghetti West’.
Wrangle your posse, throw on the wide brim and saddle up to experience some of the most iconic film music of all time performed live on stage with original film scenes projected onto the big screen!
10-piece posse ‘The Counterfeit’ perform a dynamic collection of Italian soundtracks derived from the greatest Spaghetti Western films of the 1960’s and 70’s. Featuring the vocals of Ballarat’s most wanted woman ‘Freya Josephine Hollick’, the band deliver a romantic backdrop for the perfect cinematic showdown.
Interpreting themes and title tracks from films such as ‘The Good, The Bad & The Ugly, ‘A Fistful of Dollars’, ‘Django’ and ‘Once Upon a Time in the West’, plus an extensive tracklist of new material for those who have seen the show before, this is one gig not to be missed.
The infamous John Mcall will also be joining The Counterfeit to dazzle the crowd during intermission with a blazing set of solo barrelhouse piano playing.
Hold onto your hats folks, The Counterfeit posse is hotter than a 10c pistol.
