After a sell out for our first Keep Close night back in January (and a good night at that), we put our heads together and had two key takeaways. 

1. You lot love Jungle
2. You lot also love Dubstep

Being the geniuses we are, we scratched our heads and put together a lineup that includes not only both those things but a lineup with great bloody music too.

We’re over the moon to be bringing the indisputable New Zealand bass music queen Paige Julia to Melbourne’s QQQ St. Park for a forward thinking night of underground selects. With local tastemakers Emanuel and Simbie onboard alongside label leads Azifm & Hound, you’re in safe hands and we couldn’t be more excited to show you the plans we have for another quality night here in Collingwood.

Paige Julia (NZ) 1985 Releasing, Keep Hush Djing & all time legend Paige makes music for people who stay up late. Scary basslines or pretty synths, Paige can do it all and we’re very excited to have her show you what she’s been working on so far in the big 2026. A dear friend of Keep Close, we’re very excited to have her over in Melbourne to prove to you we mean what we say.

Emanuel (NZ), the head honcho of Teeth Clippers & all time good bloke is a DJ of all trades. With releases on Fast At Work, Radio shows on Subtle, a plethora of records in the bag & a taste one can only describe as pretty mean, you’re sure to leave the floor with something you’ve never heard before. We’re gassed to welcome him to the imprint.

Simbie (AU), Naarm based and house hold name in the world of slower bass tempos, Simbie is a name you can trust. Off the back of a big old Asia tour, she’s back in the southern hemisphere cooking up nice and good things to play for us. We’re very privileged to have her knowledge & skills tear the roof off at QQQ. To put it plainly, Simbie is sick, we rate her and you will too.

Azifm (NZ) off the back of shows in the UK/EU, Azifm has been back in Melbourne, cooking up all things nice to test on the dance floor. Word around town he's got this fresh new sound ready to play loud, but even if he doesn't you'll definitely still dance & definitely tell all your friends about him after the show. (please do)

Hound (NZ) pure uncut, underground, no nonsense, no bullshit music that makes you dance instead of whinge about the scene is the encapsulation of Hound. Keep Close is excited to have him b2b with his frequent collaborator and equal parts halfwit, Azifm.
