Sunshine Coast riff‑storm power trio **Emu** hit the road for an eight‑date Australian east‑coast tour to celebrate their snarling new single “Yowies Gold” — the first taste of their highly anticipated second album due in 2026. These shows will showcase the single in all its riff-driven glory and road‑test fresh material, promising thunderous grooves, psychedelic colour and progressive jams that leave venues hazy and crowds whipped into a sonic whirlwind. Joined by a handpicked cast of Australia’s finest heavy acts, these shows are not to be missed.

  

Formed in 2021, the trio quickly carved a reputation for explosive performances and a genre‑bending sound that fuses late ’60s/early ’70s riff rock, classic metal heft and blues‑soaked improvisation. Their 2024 self‑titled debut earned international attention — landing #8 on Metal Storm’s Best Hard Rock Album Awards and #28 on the Doom Charts Top 100 Albums — with critics praising the band’s “undeniable riffage” and ferocious musicianship.
