Sunny Morris

Sunny Morris is a trans folk artist and poet originally from Sydney and now based in Melbourne. Rich in musicality and perspective, her lyrics meander through themes of gender, family and love over layers of sparkling guitars and leisurely percussion.

Absorbing, moving, insightful - Sunny’s music has that air of familiarity and warmth that is usually reserved for classics, whilst retaining its own distinctive contemporary flavour.

As well as writing songs, Sunny is also a prolific poet, having released several collections of poetry including "God Made A She-Beast" and “Animal Chandelier”.
