THE ADDICTIONS ARE COMING TO THE GASO!

‘The Addictions’ are a five man Melbourne/Naarm-based band whose sound dances over the line between funk, blues and soul. Inspired by the 80s funk and disco grooves of Prince and Stevie Wonder, the band also incorporates modern influences like Anderson .Paak and John Mayer to create a sound that highlights the perfect culmination of the band’s strengths and tastes. The Addictions are no strangers to original music with their two albums ‘Systematic’ and ‘Establishing Shot’, and on the night will be revealing some NEW tracks that are to be featured in their next EP! 

Supporting The Addictions first features four-piece band ‘Middle St’, a group of best mates whose sound can only be described as cooking up a melting pot of dance, rock, pop, and funk music infused with whisky and fully fermented beer, and second up is ‘Dear Judy’, jazz/rock collective bringing soulful music synonymous with the words groove, funk, and pocket!

Come down to The Gaso’s upstairs stage on the 18th May for an incredible lineup to keep you singing and dancing all night long!
