Rooted in the art of live looping the Shmoné project harnesses the saxophone looping style that defines Shmoné while injecting a full-band electric vibe into their music. The Shmoné project’s upbeat sets includes songs in Hebrew, English, Italian, and French, while exploring genres from folk and jazz to blues, electronic, reggae, and funk
The Shmoné project was founded four years ago. Idan decided to fly to Australia with his instruments and tour the continent of Australia in concerts and collaborations with musicians on the road. Since then, Idan has circled all of Australia, twice! With shows in every time zone, city and town. Idan was a guest on the central ABC radio station in various cities, appeared in local newspapers, collaborated with well-known bands in Australia, participated in four acclaimed festivals in four different states (QLD, WA, VIC, NT) and even held his own festival twice which included artists from all over the continent. These days Idan is touring with his band, playing sold out shows at venues of every shape and hue across the country.
