Young Love is the newest and brightest indie rock band that Melbourne/Naarm has to offer. Their indie/alternative, pop/rock sound is driven by guitars and inspired by a range of artists such as Peach Pit, The Strokes, Radiohead and The Beatles. The band is made up of vocalist/bassist Lara Anderson, guitarist’s Jake Simpson and Lucas Pipolo, as well as drummer Nash Cooper. These four music students fell in love writing and playing songs together at JMC Academy in 2022 and are now focused on building their fanbase and releasing their debut EP this year. Keep an eye out!
