Sammy From Hell

Look somewhere between a vocoder and a dark place and you’ll find SAMMY FROM HELL, the angsty lovechild of Naarm/Melbourne-based artist Sam Hamilton. 

With limited formal training, Sam writes songs based on instinct and emotion rather than sticking to typical musical rules and conventions. He doesn’t know ‘why’ things do or don’t work but hopes that the demonic impulses are leading him in the right direction.

Combining a love of experimental modern pop, 2000s emo and R&B melodies, SAMMY creates heartbreak pop/rap hybrids to scream out in your bedroom or car as you ruminate about your ex for the umpteenth time. Think Juice WRLD meets NSYNC, with a tinge of early My Chemical Romance.  

Since releasing his debut solo single ‘Out of My Head’ in June 2022, SAMMY FROM HELL has released a string of tracks, and is equally ready and terrified to perform them all live for the first time. This is particularly the case for his newest single HATE U, which will be released coinciding with the event.

SAMMY is joined by THE GAZE and Hayley Crymble, fellow local acts who defy genre conventions and put on one hell of a show.
