Squid Nebula

Squid Nebula is a collaborative ensemble pairing disco groove, psychedelic textures and jazz-infused harmony, coming together to create a live experience that is equal parts mesmerising, affirming and joyous.

Mainstays of Narrm’s soul and disco scenes, Squid Nebula are fronted by hypnotic soul artist and proud Noongar woman Bumpy and boast members from all corners of Narrm’s tight knit music community including members of Quality Used Cars, Bailey Judd, Ebiphé, Bohjass and Millar Jukes and the Muscle.

Following the release of their 2020 EP “Connectivity”, recent performances at Strawberry Fields and St. Kilda Festival and regular late night residencies around Narrm, Squid Nebula have emerged from lockdown with their debut album “From Here To You”. Working closely with Jake Amy, “From Here To You” is a neo-psychedelic disco concept album that is just as evocative and introspective as it is infectiously danceable.
