Crowbar’s birthday week is back with a mega lineup for 2023! We love nothing more than throwing a party, and what better than to celebrate with a tonne of good music. Introducing: Ruby Fields, Highly Suspect (USA), GBH (UK), Miles Away and Bad/Dreems! 

THURSDAY: Iconic, heartfelt and honest Aussie storyteller, Ruby Fields gets us started. Cronulla born Ruby Field’s has recently completed a co-headline tour with Hockey Dad, playing huge rooms around the country, she returns to Crowbar with her highly relatable songs about growing up, life, love, mates, the good times and the bad times. Supported by Rum Jungle and Jet City Sports Club.

FRIDAY: Massachusetts’ alt-rock Highly Suspect join the week with a sold out show! The multi-GRAMMY Award-nominated band's chemically imbalanced mix of gritty guitars, haunting piano, off-kilter synths, hip-hop production, and beautifully possessed vocals has transformed them into a phenomenon beloved by a diehard global fanbase since 2009.

SATURDAY: 10+ hours of party for your Saturday! English punks GBH return to Sydney with their thrashy fast and loud assault for a matinee show. An influential punk rock band for over 40 years, their longevity is a testament to their purity of sound and vision. There isn’t a gutter punk, hardcore kid or subcultural miscreant alive who hasn’t seen the GBH logo emblazoned on the back of a leather jacket, a denim vest, or a torn-up t-shirt.

SATURDAY: Backing up Saturday eve with Perth locals and Australian hardcore greats, Miles Away. After a few years off the tools, we are pumped to have Miles Away celebrate birthday week with their signature sound of melodic hardcore. Playing in Sydney for the first time in over 7 years, this is one not to be missed!

SUNDAY: An outstanding way to round out the week with pub-punk band Bad/Dreems on a Sunday. The Adelaide legends recently released a ripping album HOO HA!, currently high on our rotation. We’re stoked to have them back for some high energy, tale telling singalongs and a bit of HOO HA! Supported by The Melodrones and The Blamers.

Now is the time to get fighting fit, map it out, pace your week and don’t peak too early like we did last year ??. Plenty more TBA!
