Lara Andallo is a frontrunner in Australia's swelling R&B renaissance, and is well on her way to becoming one of the country's most engaging vocalists, gaining global recognition.

In 2020, Lara’s debut mixtape ‘For Her’ saw her work alongside fellow homegrown talents like **JOY.**, receiving airtime on HIT Network, triple j and FBi Radio; with success across both commercial and community radio serving as evidence of her wide- reaching appeal. Praise from publications like NME, Complex and The Guardian followed, who called her "one of the most promising R&B artists in Australia." International support came from **Jungwoo of Korean supergroup NCT**, who shouted out For Her single 'Trophy' which subsequently trended on Melon. The project was quickly followed by the release of single **'when the lights go out'**, which has earned over 1 million streams to date.

In 2022, Lara joined **Baker Boy, UK producer Joel Corry, and American artist Blxst**, on their respective Australia & New Zealand tours, with their support acting as confirmation of her global appeal. She debuted her single **‘Head To Toe’** at Qudos Bank Arena, performing for the NBL Grand Final, and gained significant attention on _TikTok with her live performances_ from these shows.

With the release of her singles 'Head To Toe', 'Diamond In The Rough', 'What U Want' and ‘Year 3000' off of her recently released **debut EP 'DIAMONDS & DEJAVU’** Lara expresses, "It’s the first time I’m opening up about my bisexuality and showing my fluidity.” The project confirms her allegiance to the sounds of classic R&B and pop, while incorporating futuristic electronica and harder hip-hop/trap production.

Off the back of her debut EP release, Lara’s freshly followed up with brand new single **‘OBSESSED’**, before she heads on tour with **American R&B star, Kiana Ledé** across Australia, New Zealand & Asia. She also has additional shows in the Philippines alongside the likes of local stars, Jason Dhakal, Jess Connelly & DENY.
As we head into Summer in Australia, Lara says, "I wanted to release a song that's gonna be people's summer anthem. I want people to be dancing & sweating in the club to this record all Summer long." The R&B club banger showcases Lara's ability to glide over hard 808s with ease. Co-writing the song with **UK rapper/producer, Ebenezer**, Lara says, "I started this song on my last day in LA before heading to the airport. I pulled up on Ebenezer & we both just knew we had something golden with this one. Once I got home I knew I had to finish it with Hugh, one of my main producers in Aus."

The single is a part of a string of new music Lara plans to release in 2024, with shows across Asia in the next few months, she’ll also be joining the stellar line-up of **Souled Out Festival** including, Summer Walker, Bryson Tiller & PARTYNEXTDOOR, tour Australia in March. She is notably the only Australian female act to garner a place on this line-up, cementing her leading role in the future of Australian R&B/Pop. In the past few months, Lara has gained fans in the likes of superstar **Troye Sivan**, **Blxst & Ebenezer**, whom she has been collaborating with in the studio for her next era of music.
