Cassis

Here is a unique chance to see three of Perth’s female led bands featuring Véronique Ramén, Sascha Ion and Jennifer Griffiths.

Cassis is Véronique Ramén (vocals), Jon Edwards (guitar), Warren Hall (drums), Seb Davidson (bass) and Tim Newhouse (keys). Their music draws from a wide variety of influences giving them an eclectic sound which has been described as Mature Pop meets Psych-Rock. Their songs are performed in French and English.

Sascha Ion is joined by The Elements, Liam Coffey on bass and Andrew Lippiatt on drums. Their music a mix of roots, southern rock pop and folk tied together by Sascha’s distinctive writing and vocal style.

Diöde is an experimental duo that has been in existence since the early 2000’s playing live in Perth and Melbourne and releasing numerous independent albums and Eps. Diöde traverse a wide spectrum of sounds and styles from early electropunk to dark ambient. Members are Jenny Griffiths (vocals, guitar and synths) and Kevin Robertson (electronics and drums).
