Gwyn Ashton

Returning from a 12-month European tour to promote his latest album Mojosoul and current single Get Outta Town (featuring guest musicians Richard Fortus and David Blight) Gwyn Ashton not only kicks off his 39-date Australian tour in his hometown of Adelaide, South Australia, but also probably one of the only people in the world to have members of Cold Chisel and Guns N Roses on a recording!

Ashton has just come off a Benelux tour with prog rock pioneers Wishbone Ash and is bringing his "guitar-senal" of instruments down under. He plays National Reso-Phonic Guitars, Fender Australia guitars, Asher Guitars and Lap Steels, Gretsch Guitars and many other instruments in his show.

In his career so far he's toured and played festivals and clubs with the likes of Rory Gallagher, Status Quo, BB King, Buddy Guy, The Yardbirds, Robben Ford, Michael Schenker Group, Magnum, recorded with Gallagher's and Robert Plant's band members, sat in with Woodstock legends Canned Heat and many other prolific musicians.
