Sam Tout + More

Multi-talented Perth musician Sam Tout has announced his debut instrumental solo album, "Just Floating Around".
 
The son of acclaimed and beloved Perth guitar virtuoso Errol H. Tout, Sam is now the curator of his late father’s back catalogue and contributed to his final album, "Small Window, Large View". In recent years Sam has played bass with alt-blues-rock outfit Redcliffe, but has now fulfilled a dream in writing, recording and releasing his instrumental album debut.
 
Sam plays guitar, bass, keyboards and drums on the LP, with additional guitar contributed by Redcliffe bandmate, Tim Schilperoort. Sam also mixed the album, which has been mastered by Adrian Sardi at Sugarland Studios.
 
"Just Floating Around"’s launch at Lyric’s Underground on April 21 will feature a full band consisting of Sam Tout (guitar), Tim Schilperoort (guitar), Dion Fernandes (bass), Christian Passalacqua (drums) and Jasper Lambert (keys), with support from Tim Schilperoort (solo) and Gist.
