 Prepare for a psychedelic trip through the life and music of the legendary Queen of rock JANIS JOPLIN more than 50 years since her passing this icon is STILL influencing women in music and fashion.
This action packed 2 hour show features Janice Smithers. Janice by name & Janis by nature with an uncanny ability to deliver an accurate portrayal of Joplin’s unique vocal style with songs like Bobby McGee, Mercedes Benz, Cry Baby, Piece of my heart & Get it While you can PLUS many more delivered by the rocking all-star band who also belt out hits by The Doors and Jimi Hendrix from the era. The little known story of Joplin’s tumultuous life is weaved in between the songs told by Janice with a mesmerising multimedia production which has audiences laughing and crying and profoundly moved. Everyone is invited to join the fun by dressing in their best psychedelic 60’s outfits and be ready for a journey back to the age of Aquarius 1969

The show will be featured internationally at this year’s 2024 Edinburgh fringe for 2 weeks in August so see it while you can!
