Not to be mistaken for mere folklore, animated local act Parsnip will be springing back to the Northcote Social Club to present their own variety of propulsive and giddy garage rock.   
 
Having the honour to support Bikini Kill, Ty Segall & Freedom Band, The Chills and even renowned children’s group The Wiggles, there is an exciting new era emerging as Parsnip flourish with the changing season.   
 
Drawing comparisons with Dolly Mixture and Look Blue Go Purple, Parsnip explores realms of both the outer and the inner against a jangly and jolting synergy. Their sounds hark back to the whimsy and obscurity of 1960s counterculture, being reawakened as something wholly their own.   
 
Parsnip will be joined by friends and stellar support acts Woollen Kits and The Shifters.
