Lapidatus

A band birthed from two things - a small group of teens with a burning desire to play live music, and an awesome mullet, donned by the bassist, which has since been sadly shaved off.

Lapidatus (pronounced Lap-id-at-ess) is currently composed of 17-year old singer and guitarist Zane Blumeris, 17 year old bass-wielder Ryan Holloway and Gen-X drummer Craig Blumeris.

With an indescribable style closest to Progressive Rock, Lapidatus makes music for fans of TOOL, Queens of the Stone Age and Red Hot Chili Peppers. 

Joined by Melbourne bands Flotsam and Sonic Assault, a kickass night of celebrating the greatest form of music is sure to take place.
