The wait is over. Prayers have been answered. Five long years after their last Australian visit and an even longer 12-year eternity since their last visit to Western Australia, Warren Ellis, Mick Turner and Jim White a/k/a Dirty Three finally return.

Presented by Fremantle Arts Centre, Fremantle Ports and the City of Fremantle welcome instrumental trio Dirty Three back to Western Australia this winter as part of a national tour with a one-of-a-kind performance scheduled in Fremantle on June 22.

DIRTY THREE supported by Eleanor Jawurlngali
Fremantle Passenger Terminal | SAT 22 JUN | 6:30pm

Dirty Three formed as an instrumental rock trio in Melbourne in 1992, consisting of Warren Ellis on violin and bass guitar, Mick Turner on lead and bass guitars and Jim White on drums.

Warren Ellis is a prolific musician and long-time collaborator of Nick Cave, as integral part of The Bad Seeds and its more experimental spin-off Grinderman since 1996.

Already announced as a marquee act at Melbourne’s Rising Festival, Mick, Jim and Warren will bring highlights from an unparalleled catalogue plus new album Love Changes Everything to Fremantle.

Please note this is not a seated event. All tickets are General Admission/Standing.

"For two hours, Dirty Three were the greatest band on any planet in any universe.” - FBi Sydney State Theatre review

"It’s impossible to find flaw with the performance, though its x factor is something collectively felt. A kind of accruing, song by fiery song, of irrefutable proof as to how truly great this band is." - Sydney Opera House review -The Guardian

"You are never alone with Dirty Three" - Warren Ellis, London 2024
