Kick those Monday blues to the curb at Social Sanctuary – your weekly night of free live music at NSC. We've lined up a stellar roster of your fave local artists and some exciting new talents breezing through town!

This week honeybeam, Snowy (duo) and Nat Pavlovic (duo) are stopping by for a show.

honeybeam holds the room with songs rich in soft depth. The Naarm 4-piece, led by Maya Adamson, conjures a particular playful delicacy that demands attention as lilting arrangements give backdrop to tender vocals. Growing from a solo project and a previous lineup based in Tarntanya, honeybeam have quickly become a must-see outfit only a few months into playing in the Naarm scene

Bandmates / BFFs Nat Pavlovic and Liam “Snowy” Halliwell embark on a tour across NSW and Victoria throughout April. Their dynamic two-piece performances range from the intimate to the immediate drawing from their vast and varied back-catalogues as well as previewing material from their forthcoming records.

Melbourne musician Liam Halliwell performs, writes and records under the name he is most commonly known - Snowy. In his group - Snowy Band-  and its various permutations he dabbles in a variety approaches - continuously experimenting, documenting and revisiting musical ideas. The Snowy Songbook is an endlessly evolving work-in-progress best exemplified by his live shows.

Founding member and alternate bassist/guitarist of Dianas, label-parent to the Blossom Rot Records family, and a member of too many local bands to count, Nathalie Pavlovic also creates ethereal alternative folk songs that meditate on love and longing: for people, for place and for sense of self.

Social Sanctuary is proud to be sponsored by Mountain Goat.

Our show is being held on the lands of the Wurundjeri People and we wish to acknowledge them as the Traditional Owners of this land we are gathered on. We also pay our respects to their Elders, past and present, and Aboriginal Elders of other communities that may join us for our show.

Northcote Social Club strives to create a safe space that everyone can enjoy.
Crowd surfing & dangerous behaviour will result in removal from the venue.
