Live At Rattles: Jono's Mate Sheep W/ Yours To Keep

The music scene is thriving in the Northern Rivers and Southern Gold Coast, and Rattle Snake are joining in the action to support live, local, and original bands with Jono's Mate Sheep and Yours To Keep kicking things off. Jono's Mate Sheep are an epic melancholic four-piece reminiscent of The Church, The National, Frightened Rabbit, and Ruby Fields. In 2023 and 2024, they shared stages with Kim Churchill, Money Boys, The Bennies, Purple Zain, Power Drill, Thirst Trap, Big League and Keaper, embarked on their first Victorian tour, and headlined their own sold out shows across the Gold Coast and Northern NSW. The Sheep have a range of new tracks among their repertoire as they build towards their first EP release since 2020. Joining them from the vibrant shores of Cooly itself are Yours To Keep, a band that's redefining the music scene with bold blend of surf rock and genre-fluid styles. At the heart of this dynamic female-fronted four-piece is 18 year old Danni, a lead singer whose raw energy and rock star charisma captivate audiences. Born from a shared passion for live performances and an innate drive for musical creation, Yours To Keep authentically echoes the experiences of growing up. With dreamy guitars and ethereal harmonies, their sound is a vivid diary of teenage life. Since their impactful debut in late 2023 with the single "Baby," the band, fuelled by Danni's spirited leadership, has drawn inspiration from the electrifying performances of groups like Teenage Dads, rapidly evolving into a symbol of youthful exuberance and emotional honesty.
