Elizabeth M. Drummond

Having moved on from ‘Little May’ in 2019, the band she started with childhood friends, Elizabeth M. Drummond wrote, recorded and produced her debut solo EP ‘Congratulations’ which was released in late 2022.

Drummond re-emerges from the studio once again in 2024, with ‘Simplify’ the first single from her forthcoming EP, due in October. Her music is compelling, unpredictable and often humorous, providing an intriguing reflection of Drummond’s own life and insight into her perspective on the world around her. 

Support for Drummond’s solo material has come domestically from Double and Triple J, community radio, Spotify editorial including New Music Friday and a stint as the ‘cover star’ on Fresh Finds, Apple New Music Daily/New in Rock and publications such as The Guardian. Internationally, Drummond has been championed by the likes of KEXP (Song Of The Day), BBC6, and Jack Saunders (BBC Radio 1 “Next Wave” feature) who says of Drummond:-

“When an artist comes along out of nowhere and releases a debut single that captures your attention, well, that kind of says a lot”.
