Gimmy @ Shotkickers

Porpoise Spit and Bad Bangs are rolling out the red carpet for new mates off the Calder; GIMMY.

In celebration of the release of GIMMY’s highly-anticipated debut album ‘Things Look Different Now’, the band are hitting the road on their biggest Australian tour to date!

The project of Byron region female artist Gemma Owens, GIMMY (pronounced "gimmie") brings a diverse flavour to her music, with infectious surf-garage and indie-rock, through to danceable post-punk and new-wave, and glimpses of folk throughout her songs. Alongside her band consisting of Samson Radici (guitar), Kyle Aubrey (bass) and Barclay Israel (drums), GIMMY delivers a raw sound with heavily lyrical songwriting evoked by her powerful vibrato vocals that captivates listeners.

Bad Bangs are firing up the stove with their effortless sprint between genre and concept, running ahead of the pack with their latest album "Out of character" which is still getting a huge spin on the cycle - rightfully so.

And bookending a Narrm extravaganza are local legends Porpoise Spit! You know that any Porpoise Spit show has got to be seen live to be believed (or at least embellished, retold, reimagined) - so that's it! No more spoilers! View it with your own peepers or regret it!  Either way these four horsemen of the apocalypse are your ride or dies.

Buy a ticket and support the bands that support you (emotionally and physically) with their tender loving rock.

Catch you in the shotties pit mates!
