Join us at the iconic Port Beach Brewery for an evening of pure dub magic. We're bringing the sounds of the underground to the outdoors, celebrating the rich tapestry of Sound System Culture. From our signature heavy weight, caramel-bass dub grooves to high-energy jungle beats, we're curating a sonic journey that will resonate through the night.
Expect a diverse mix of artists who will transport you to new musical dimensions. Whether you're a seasoned dubhead or a newcomer to the scene, this outdoor edition promises an immersive experience like no other.
Conducting Munky business since 1999, straight out of Bristol, UK - DJ, producer, MC and label boss Chris Munky draws his music selections from a vast collection of both vinyl & digital archives.
DJ sets can journey through a blend of original sounds, classics and dubplate specials; spanning jungle, drum & bass, breakbeats, garage, hip hop, funk and anything dubwise. As an MC, Chris brings some vital vocal energy to DJ sets, where he specialises in connecting with the crowd and maximising the good times at every event. His ‘host & toast’ style allows the music to breathe while his lyrics weave in and out of the mix, complimenting his DJ.
Chris Munky has toured hard over the last decade and has performed in 32 countries worldwide. From Mumbai to Vancouver, Northern Bass to Glastonbury and beach festivals to aircraft hangars; providing the finest selection in bass weighty gems from the past, present and future.
He has also collaborated both live and in the studio with with the likes of Eva Lazarus, LTJ Bukem, Royalston, Serial Killaz, Aphrodite, Chali 2na, Baby Bam (Jungle Brothers), INJA, Gardna, Parly B, Dub Fx & P.Smurf; amongst other incredible producers and vocalists.

The Acid Dub Foundation (ADF) is a refreshingly original, ever-evolving psychedelic dub sensation that emerged from Berlin's underground Soundsystem culture. Infused with transglobal beats and elevated by the selections and live dubbing skills of Red Earth Dub Circus founding member Lloyd Dubelganger (Germany/UK), the infectious vocals of Mc Kadaffi (Chile), and a high-energy guest saxophone performance ft. Kanja on Sax, this trio creates a sonic experience like no other. With a myriad of effects and live dubbing, their performances are a sonic adventure.
On its musical journey, Acid Dub Foundation has had the privilege of sharing stages with iconic artists such as Zion Train, Weeding Dub, Roots Raid, Scientist, Weeding Dub, Tetra Hydro K, Lions Den Soundsystem and Manudigital. Memorable performances include the 6 hour closing set at Fusion Festival's Dub Station in Germany, hosting the Bass Playground stage at Freqs of Nature (Germany), and most recently gracing the stage at Bliss Fest and Blossom Festival in WA.
For this set the ADF trio is teaming up with KBI Sound Systems' very own Tubby MC!
Verenity shares songs which shake the soul and make you move. Originally from Berlin, Verenity spent the last decade living in Auckland before traveling to Fremantle. Due to unforeseen circumstances she ended up moving to WA and starting her musical journey as a DJ.
Since then, Verenity has joined iconic Blazing Swan sound camp God Said No and has become an integral member of the Red Earth Dub Circus Family. She has played her eclectic music mix in the renowned GSN pyramid, Blossom Festival, Pachamama Gatherings and at other events around WA. Refusing to be defined by a single genre, Verenity draws inspiration from a wide range of music and is ever searching for a soulful sound.
