This exciting classical concert features Paul Cheung (piano), Tim Yu (violin) and Rachel Siu (cello), performing mostly piano trios, with some solo piano items from Paul. Paul Cheung (piano) Paul is one of the most well-known pianists in Sydney, in high demand as a soloist, chamber pianist and accompanist. He won the 2023 Geoffrey Parsons award, the inaugural David Miller award and prizes at the Australian National Piano Award 2022. Paul is a casual staff member with the Sydney Conservatorium of music, an associate artist for the Rising Stars program, and an official accompanist for the Sydney Eisteddfod. He has performed solo, concerto, chamber, and orchestral repertoire across Australasia, Europe, and South America. Rachel Siu (cello) Described as "fearless" by Yo-Yo Ma in an interview with South China Morning Post, Australian-born Rachel Siu has been making her mark all around the world. Rachel received the Gold Medal prize at the VIII David Popper International Cello Competition in Hungary, and was winner of The Juilliard School concerto competition in 2017. Rachel is on the faculty at the Sydney Conservatorium of Music and is a part of Australia's own renowned Streeton Trio
