Underground dance music - Chicago - Detroit - New York inspired
WIP Music are proud to present Middle James at the Civic Underground.
Formed in 2022, the pair (Sam Weeks and Connor Mackenzie) have been busy blending improvisational jazz and classical training (Weeks, a Saxophonist and Mackenzie, a pianist) into charging deep house tracks that land somewhere between Coltrane and Chaos in the CBD.
Welcoming the duo with the hot EP release "Waka" - this party is a celebration of their musical efforts, sense of community and spirit of dance. This is their first EP dropping on WIP Music with more to come.
On support will be Melody Pak & George Kristopher who we also welcome officially to the party, as well as Mikekon returning to close out what looks to be another Dope night in the underground.
