Yngwie Malmsteen is a Swedish guitarist, songwriter, and bandleader known for his technical proficiency and innovation in heavy metal and rock music. Rising to prominence in the 1980s, Malmsteen has released numerous albums and toured extensively, earning him a dedicated global fanbase and critical acclaim. His 2024 Australian tour celebrates the 40th anniversary of his debut solo album, “_Yngwie J. Malmsteen’s Rising Force_”, as well as material spanning 40 years.
