Duke of George presents
Duke-House-Joint Blues featuring The Cross Eyed Cats
The Cross Eyed Cats hail from Fremantle (mainly), Western Australia, and have been playing some Bloody Good Blues for over 20 years (really? is it that long?). The Cap’n – Glenn Carpenter – looms large with his voice, guitar and a mezzanine pedal board. Some say his style is reminiscent of a bullfrog sippin’ Kentucky whisky.
To the right of The Cap’n is Sweetlips Fitzpatrick. He challenges the capabilities of the harmonica with an ever-cheery demeanour and a collection of smoothly stylish shirts.
Sweetlips’ partner in horn is Lindsay Gouldfingers Gould, blowing a super saxy tenor. This guy is the real musician in the band!
And cranking out the rhythm section is The Pumpkin with the band's heart-beat on his classy Fender bass and completely outshone by WES, the Work Experience Student with his youthful good looks and perfect skin tone.
Steadfast in their unwavering commitment to having a Great Time and playing Bloody Good Blues, come and enjoy this eclectic and classy Duke-House-Joint Blues!
